Working Group with Scott Mealsey

March 9th 2018, 2-4pm

This working group, facilitatied by Scott Mealey was an in-depth discussion of Dr. Matt Omasta's work:

  • Omasta, Matt. "Artist Intention and Audience Reception in Theatre for Young Audiences." Youth Theatre Journal 25.1 (2011): 32-50.

  • Omasta, Matt, and Dani Snyder-Young. "Gaps, Silences and Comfort Zones: Dominant Paradigms in Educational Drama and Applied Theatre Discourse." Research in Drama Education: The Journal of Applied Theatre and Performance 19.1 (2014): 7-22.

Following this, we had a visioning conversation about what lied ahead for CSAR, and what our next projects were at the time.

Presented in Toronto, ON.
