This working group discussed "Reading fan mail: Communicating immersive experience in Punchdrunk’s Faust and The Masque of the Red Death" Rose Biggin, University of Exeter, UK. Participations, Journal of Audience and Reception Studies.Vol 12.1, May 2015. Pg 301-317. This was followed by a presentation and discussion by CSAR associate director, Kelsey Jacobson, engaging a debate around the relationship between theatre of the real and audience members, considering in particular the politics of a perception of "realness".
